Oakshire north

Oakshire is town in the Elarewyth kingdom. Located northeast of the capital city Summeredge and to the southeast of the border town Slinsk.

It is the starting location in Roundscape: Adorevia, ACT I.

WARNING: Due to story reasons it is highly advised you finish all Oakridge related quests before finishing Act 1 as certain quests may become unavailable after the conclusion of Act 1.

Background[]

The quaint little town was founded centuries ago. Surrounded by farmland it feeds the rest of Elarewyth. It was and still is, a trading hub for caravans going all across Adorevia continent.

A little boring and out of the way, but it is quaint with it's hidden evils almost all of which center on the local Inn.

Points of Interest[]

  • To the east of Oakridge is a temple where you can find the tree with the sword Aetherius embedded in it.
    • You need more than -10 Morality to enter the temple.
    • You need a Morality of 50+ to obtain the sword.
  • To the northwest of Oakridge is a watchtower where a guard will offer a male PC a blowjob.
  • There is a Mysterious Shard located to the left of the Warlock's Tower.
  • To the right of the Web Crystal there is a nun surrounded by wolves. You can save her for 100 gold and +1 Morality.

Unmarked Quests[]

  • Wedding Ring
    • The Blacksmith Ivrok has lost his wedding ring. Its to the left behind the well.
    • He will rebuild the bridge to Slinsk that is guarded by the Bandit Beastmaster for you if you return the ring.
    • Reward: If you return the ring, you get the Orb of Power. +4 morality for you. -2 Corruption Meredith. +2 Affection for Meredith.
  • The Cheating Girlfriend?
    • Gavil thinks his girlfriend Alice is cheating on him. He offers you 250 gold to follow her and find out the truth.
    • If you return and tell Gavril about what is really happening you are rewarded with an H-scene.
    • Later in Act ll, if you completed the quest and the quest A Favor for Rilke, Gavril and Alice can be found barricaded in their house. The Hero can offer for them to move into Castle Whitemoon temporarily. Afterwards Alice becomes a potential target for recruitment as a whore in the Brothel at Castle Whitemoon for 15 Trust.
  • Telia the Sellsword
    • A potential guest NPC who can be hired to accompany the Hero to Slinsk for 50 gold.
    • If the PC doesn't have 50 gold she will tell the Hero that she will tag along for free but only until the party reaches Slinsk, at which point she departs for Yakotin.
  • Retrieve a stolen tablet for Sister G'linda.
    • She is located east of Oakridge, north of the temple where the sword Aetherius resides.
    • The bandit is located near the Warlock's Tower.
    • After accepting the quest you can immediately return to the building to witness an H-scene.
  • Netro's Task:
    • The Warlock in the Warlock's Tower confuses you for his apprentice and assigns you to collect ingredients for an immortality potion for him.
    • Should you accept, he requires you to get him Spider Legs which can be found right outside the tower.
      • Female characters will need to also collect Horse Cum which can be found in Slinsk. It can be purchased from the Stable Master or extracted personally for an H-scene.
    • Upon returning you can choose to kill the Warlock to free the Demon NPC. She will then offer to give the player cheats.
  • The Warlock's Ritual
    • After killing the Warlock during Netro's Task, he will drop the Book of Chaos. Reading the book tells you that you need a Stone of Glass and a Frostvein Flower.
      • The Stone of Glass can be found in the Blood Temple during the quest to unlock the Mystic class that is started in Ornesse.
      • The Frostvein Flower can be found to the east of Novos in the area where you come across the Dwarf fighting the pack of wolves.
    • After acquiring both items, head to the waterfall to the west of the entrance to Slinsk where you will discover a hidden cave. Perform the ritual and you unlock both the Warlock class and an H-scene with your tutor.
  • Amulet of Light
    • This quest becomes available after the PC makes it to Slinsk for the first time.
    • There will be a new NPC in the Oakshire Inn that possesses an item called the Amulet of Light. He will tell the Hero that he will part with the item if he is allowed to sleep with Meredith. Alternatively he can be lured outside to steal the item.
    • The interaction plays out differently based on Meredith's level of Corruption.
      • With low Corruption she must be talked into sleeping with the man.
      • With higher Corruption she will volunteer to sleep with him and even invite a male PC to join.
  • Lost Boy
    • After saving Summeredge, there will be a child by the pathway that leads to the Warlock's Tower.
